An AI & interactive
technology studio
turning signal into software

Trillion AI Tech designs and engineers apps, games, agent systems and small sharp tools. Everything here is being built in the open workshop — nothing is shipped yet, and that is the point.

Field notes

Four surfaces the studio works across

  1. 01 / Apps

    Software you keep

Focused utilities with fast interfaces, offline-friendly logic and no subscription theatre.

  2. 02 / Games

    Playable systems

Short-session browser and mobile play built around one clean mechanic that rewards attention.

  3. 03 / Agents

    Machines that assist

Model-driven assistants with visible reasoning, hard boundaries and a human always in the loop.

  4. 04 / Tools

    Workshop instruments

The internal rigs, pipelines and test harnesses that make the other three possible.

Approach

A workshop, not a funnel

The studio runs on short build cycles: a question becomes a prototype, the prototype earns a name, and only work that survives real use gets released. Progress is written down as it happens.

Build

Prototype in days, not quarters. Every idea has to run before it is described.

Own

Independent, self-funded, no platform lock-in on the things we make or the data behind them.

Evolve

Ship, watch, revise. Products are treated as living systems rather than launches.

Something in the lab you want to test?

Early collaborators, playtesters and technical partners are welcome while the first products are still being formed.

Work in progress, on the record

Everything below is a concept or working prototype inside the studio. Names marked as concepts are working titles only — they exist so the work can be discussed, not because a product has launched.

  • Agent systems In development

Signal Desk Concept name · prototype

A workbench for supervised agents: tasks are declared, each step is visible, and nothing executes outside the boundaries you set. Currently a rough internal rig used to test how much autonomy is actually useful before trust breaks.

    • Transparent step-by-step execution log
    • Human approval gates on every write action
    • Runs against local and hosted models
    Request a walkthrough Prototype 0.x
  • Mobile utilities In development

    Small, sharp apps

A family of single-purpose utilities — capture, convert, measure — designed to open instantly and work with no account. In design and technical spike stage.

  • Playable worlds In development

Nodefall Concept name · playtest build

A grid-based reaction game about reading patterns under pressure. The signal console in the Games area is the first public slice of this mechanic.

  • Internal tooling In development

    Workshop pipeline

Build, test and release rigging shared across studio projects: asset pipelines, evaluation harnesses and deployment scripts. Used daily, not yet packaged for anyone else.

  • Applied research In development

    Retrieval & memory studies

Experiments in giving assistants durable, inspectable memory — what to keep, what to forget, and how a person can audit both. Written up as internal notes.

  • Interactive web In development

    Client build practice

Selective contract work: interactive sites, coded visuals and AI features built to the same standard as studio products. Availability is limited while first-party work is in flight.

Signal Console

A playable slice of the studio's grid mechanic, running entirely in your browser with no downloads, accounts or external assets. It is here to prove the site is game-ready.

04 / Studio

Independent, from Aotearoa New Zealand

About the studio

Trillion AI Tech is a small independent technology studio working from Aotearoa New Zealand across artificial intelligence, applications, games and interactive systems.

The studio is deliberately compact. Work moves from question to prototype quickly, and the interesting part happens in the middle — the version that runs badly, gets rebuilt, and finally earns a place in front of people. That process is the product line: apps and games as first-party releases, agents and tooling as the infrastructure underneath them.

Nothing has been released yet. Rather than hide that, this site is written as a live record of what is being built, so anyone considering a collaboration can judge the work and not the marketing.

Being based at the far end of the world is part of the operating model: build for the web first, stay lightweight, and design so that distance and bandwidth never determine who gets to use something.

  • One clear mechanic Every product — game or tool — is built around a single idea you can explain in a sentence.
  • Prototype before promise Nothing is announced as finished until it has survived real use in real conditions.
  • Legible machines AI features show their working. If a system acts on your behalf, you can see and stop it.
  • Own the foundation Self-funded and self-hosted where it counts, so the roadmap answers to the work.

Build

Hands-on engineering across web, mobile and model-driven systems.

Own

Independent by design — first-party products, no external mandate.

Evolve

Every release is a checkpoint, never the finish line.
